TV here again, and today we are going to talk about Interest Groups. by definition, an interest group is an organization of people with similar goals. To be more clear it is a group of people who have similar beliefs (politically), that influence the government and the people. Interest groups can vary from what they want, how many members are involved, and if they want economic gains or non-economic gains. An interest group that focuses on economic growth are influenced heavily by money, while non-economic gains are compensation for emotional trauma. Interest Groups as previously stated influence our politics tremendously. One way interest groups influence politicians is by lobbying the government. Lobbying government is attempting to influence legislators and officials to lean more on the interest groups ideas and beliefs.
